Young people in Western Sydney are invited to attend and participate in ‘the JAM,’ an all-ages event at Granville Youth and Community Recreation Centre on Sat 11th of December from 12noon-6pm.
The event will feature established hip-hop artists DJ Nick Toth, MC Trey, Dzcyple Last, DJ Leeroy Brown plus a host of talented hip-hop and R&B groups and is organized by a group of young girls called ‘Under-Construction’, who are young artists themselves. The JAM also boasts performances by Western Sydney groups, U.S.O, EARTHQUAKE, The MAC FIELDERS, KARRA-NUTZ, BASIK SOUND and PHREAZE.
“We are all solo artists and just starting out but needed a space to perform so we got together and got funding from INDENT Music NSW to assist with the cost of running this event”, said one of the organisers, Bella from Under-Construction.
“I’m looking forward to the open mic section, as anyone can get up and have a go, and it’s always exciting to see fresh new talent on stage”, said Trey.

The Jam is co-presented by Information & Cultural Exchange (ICE) in partnership with Parramatta City Council.
