Joint Project launch a smashing success
On December 10 we held a joint launch for the Yallah! What’s Your Story? and Pacific Specific projects.
The event, held at Auburn Community Development Network, was attended by more than 100 music lovers, film buffs and family members who showed their support of these fresh new artists from Arabic-speaking and Pacific communities.
Six new music clips and four digital stories were launched on the day. ICE’s Trey Thomas who coordinated the two projects felt very proud of the young people who participated.
“It can be daunting to get up on stage and share your stories with strangers, but the participants performed well and their confidence grew as the night progressed. The energy in the room was electric and supportive, I am so pleased to have been a part of these young people’s creative journey.”
